[maemo-developers] Why should I write apps for Maemo?

When you say "1.2 tree had moved forward", do you mean that the source 
packages in PR1.2 SDK are not the source of the actual packages that 
will be in PR1.2? Can we get updated source packages?

I am specifically interested in hildon-desktop packages 
(hildon-desktop, hildon-home, hildon-status-menu, etc.), and libhildon.
