I just want to remark, that this proposal would not change anything in my specific situation. I'm not listed in the top-products-karma-page and would still need 10 votes, which seems to take very long time. I'm not sure how intensive the track-record delegation (point 2) would be lived and whether this would help. Maybe another solution is to have a higher weight on the votes themselves. E.g. each thump up/down has a weight of <voter's karma>/100+1? It would still need 10 voters with low karma but a single "super guru" could just release a package. Of course, positive voting for your own package should be inhibited. Regards, Roman
