Just like plain GTK+, you could put your (GTK+ IM context compliant) IM
module in /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.4.0/immodules then run
gtk-query-immodules-2.0. The next step would be disabling the stock IM
in /etc/gtk-2.0/gtk.immodules
