Nokia firmware image version 2.2005.45-7 (can't update to -8, Linux flasher not working, separate email to follow about that) I'm running several APs, a mix of open and WPA-PSK. I tried to connect the 770 to one of the WPA-PSK APs, using the hex key, but, based on the AP's log, it failed WPA aythentication. On another WPA-PSK AP, which uses a passphrase, the 770 connects without any problems. I'm assuming that the connection manager interprets the key string for WPA-PSK as a passphrase. Is there any way to have it interpreted as a hex key instead? D. -- Make history or be it.
