Always ON is great for geeks too -- often when somebody asks some question about the contents of the filesystem on the 770, I try to ssh into it to take a look. Having to pull it out of the pocket, slide the cover off, and click three times to get online is annoying. On the other hand I am not willing to trade battery life of > 24 hours of casual use for always on.
