[maemo-users] checking for new email takes forever

Hi,

Since the latest upgrade of Maemo checking my POP account for new
emails sometimes takes several minutes. This wasn't the case before. I
thought it might have to do with the firmware, but after flashing it,
the problem is still the same (checking my  email on other devices
works as usual). Also, the behavior is the same regardless of the
connection method.

Any suggestions?
