Hmhm, and afaik, maemo uses the telepathy framework. I don't know that really
well, but I would assume there's a generic file sending function in that, which
then uses the installed plugins and configured accounts to do the right thing.

If the frameworks doesn't know that, then it might be really harder (but I
would find that a bit weird).
