Weird things:

1. Here, the Sofia-SIP stack ill-chooses an IPv6 binding in Via headers, but
this doesn't seem to hurt anything.

2. The first REGISTER already has an Authorization header with a password
digest computed on a nonce. Normally, Sofia-SIP puts this header only when
challenged by the proxy. Did you post the complete sequence? Were there any
previous connection attempts?
Regardless of the answers, the box should have challenged the unauthenticated
request with 401 or 407, if that's the only problem with the request.

To exclude the difference in Contact, try to set the transport to UDP in your
SIP account's settings. Try also TCP if the box supports that.
