           Version: 5.0/(1.2009.42-11)
          Platform: All

            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Medium
         Component: General
        AssignedTo: rtcomm at maemo.org
        ReportedBy: somekeystrokes at gmail.com
         QAContact: communication-bugs at maemo.bugs

SOFTWARE VERSION:
(Settings > General > About product)
Version: 1.2009.42-11.203.2

EXACT STEPS LEADING TO PROBLEM:

1. Open application manager
2. download any application from extra-devel package

EXPECTED OUTCOME:

The application should start downloading.

ACTUAL OUTCOME:

It shows that downloading is in progress, but the progress bar doesnt move
forward at all. After about 10 mins the bar suddenly comes to about 40% and it
says that "[Application name] downloading failed".
This has happened to me with the following applications:

1. Midori web browser
2. Ioquake
3. Prboom
4. Pidgin protocols plugin for conversations and contacts
5. Extra protocols plugin for conversations and contacts

And they are all from the Extra-Devel package.

REPRODUCIBILITY:
Always

OTHER COMMENTS:

I am sorry if this is not the right place to post a bug entry related to
application catalogues in "Communication" catagory. But firstly, I couldnt find
any other catagory suitable, Second, I thought its related to Chat because my
prime purpose of posting this is to get yahoo chat support and nothing else.

Thank you in advance.

Please respond and solve my problem.
