There is no problem with the procedure in general but some users report 
same/similar problems with specific cards.

There are more threads about this, one example here
I'd suggest to reformat the card with panasonic SD formatter, it helped 
few peoople (see post #16 in that thread). If you still have problems 
check kernel for details why it fails.
