Yes, this is and always has been our default SoP since the beginning  
(it was actually one of the first things we decided).[1] :)

The point is to make it easier for people who might need to email the  
council (Nokia, community members with specific issues, outside  
parties for whatever reason) to do so without having to seek out the  
specific email addresses (much like most websites have a webmaster  
address). This is not a mailing list.

As would I, as open communication is one of the council's core values.

Again, this isn't a mailing list, it's simply an easy way to  
communicate with the council directly when needed.
