A good idea.

I agree with your point, but there were a number of times that there
were blog posts, and threads about the council to try and get people
involved and commenting on the first/second/third/... drafts which
existed at that time:

The last two are particularly interesting - these are people *outside*
of the Maemo userbase who have seen us organising ourselves like this
and think it's a great idea (ego_boost++).

Advertising new things is difficult, but I don't think it was a lack
of trying which means people weren't involved. Can you give more
specifics on what actions could've pulled you in to the earlier
discussions?
