I would like to second this request. I am not sure if the 770 has enough
poop to handle that much more data but if it does then I would love to have
the option to handle CD quality wavs.

One issue might be if the mic on the 770 has some hardware prefiltering on
it. I get the sense that it does based on the samples that I have taken so
far and that might limit the frequency content entering the 770 in the first
place. So no amount of sample rate increase will capture something that
doesn't exist.
