  I trust you are aware of the "hidden" features available by editing
/etc/systemui/systemui.xml?  There's a variety of options for
soft-poweroff, instant lock, lock, reboot, etc. all commented out by
default.  Are you requesting something different or am I
misunderstanding the question?
