EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: We need more ideas. We need more volunteers for mentoring. Deadline for decision: Tomorrow Wednesday at midday. Then you "only" need to have a maemo project accepted by Google. In order to get this, maemo needs to apply as organization in Google SoC and be approved. In order to apply with realistic chances we need a decent set of ideas and a decent team of mentors. As I said yesterday, we are not still there. *We need more ideas. We need more volunteers for mentoring.* Note that we DON'T need specific projects and students at this stage. It's quite pointless to have them before maemo applies and gets approved by Google. Then students will come up with projects, and we will decide which ones go ahead considering the number of maemo projects Google is funding. This is how it works. -- Quim Gil - http://maemo.org
