We *do* name parsing, I wrote the blog post Marcin cited was written for the
frustration of not being able to have something working in the 100% of cases
with western names (much worse with non-western ones!).

Where we do name parsing is when importing from SIM. SIMs only have a full name
field, so we have to parse the name to fit our UI.
Another case where we do the name parsing is when importing vcards with FN but
no N.

The vcard in the example is really broken, it has both FN and N but the N field
contains only empty strings! Now we have to see what to do with this broken
data and if we can work it around. Kasper, which phone produces that?

My point was that user interfaces should not have 2 name fields like now, given
that we have those 2 fields we must do parsing.
