If the device turns itself off 6 secs after power-on, this is a known
bug[1] which may happen after device has rebooted >10 times *in
succession*. To get your device booting correctly, you need to set it
to R&D mode (with flasher).  After rebooting the device manually a few
times, you might try turning the R&D mode off[2] and seeing whether
the device now boots successfully in production mode.

[1] Which will be fixed in the very soon to be released new image.

[2] R&D mode does some things which are not suitable for everyday usage
like disabling some checks at bootup and making power key to boot the
device immediately (i.e. device can very easily boot in your pocket).
